Job summary

Centria Autism in Sherwood, Oregon, seeks Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children under a BCBA's supervision. You will implement individualized plans and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Qualifications

• Passion for helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid, and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors while fostering independence.
• Collaborate with a team to support each child’s progress and family goals.
