Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to build communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training and, although prior experience isn’t required, you must be patient, compassionate, and team-oriented.

Qualifications

• Patient and compassionate, able to work in a team.
• 18+ years of age, HS diploma or GED.
• CPR/First Aid cert and TB test required or to be obtained.
• Pass background check.
• Able to move in various positions and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Registered Behavior Technician certification required within 45 days of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Assist in reducing interfering behaviors under BCBA guidance.
