Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under the guidance of a BCBA to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

We provide comprehensive training and a supportive team environment; candidates should be patient, compassionate, and comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and standing or moving during shifts.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team.
• 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR, First Aid certification and TB test required.
• Able to pass pre-employment background check.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Move and exercise with children as needed.
• Ensure safety and support during activities.
