Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians in Portland, Oregon. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.

We provide comprehensive training to ensure you are equipped to help each child reach their full potential. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while maintaining safety and compassion.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion to work with children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow supervision.
• Must be able to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior interventions.
• Follow BCBA guidance and use evidence-based techniques.
• Assist with teaching communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Maintain safety and physical ability to assist children up to 50 pounds.
