Job summary

Centria Autism in Lafayette, Oregon is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism one-on-one. You will implement individualized behavior plans under a BCBA, teaching communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques while reducing challenging behaviors.

No prior experience is required; comprehensive training is provided. The role requires physical stamina to stand, walk, sit, lift up to 50 pounds, and work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work with children with autism.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with team and participate in training.
