Job summary

Centria Autism in Plymouth, MI is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized plans under a BCBA. You’ll use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Training is provided; experience not required, but compassion and teamwork are essential. Pay starts at $16–$20/hour, with growth based on experience.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated passion for helping children with autism.
• Patience and compassion; ability to work in a team.
• Must be 18 years or older and legally eligible to work.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Assist BCBA under supervision to monitor progress.
• Perform duties such as ensuring safety and documenting observations.
