Centria Autism in Wyandotte, MI seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, under BCBA guidance. You’ll implement individualized plans, teach essential skills, and reduce challenging behaviors using evidence-based methods.

We provide comprehensive training; must be patient, team-oriented, and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. Pay ranges from $17–$20 per hour, with opportunities to grow within a structured career path.

Qualifications

• Passion for helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Able to pass pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavior intervention under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Assist with safety and well-being of children with autism.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and document progress.
