Job summary

Centria Healthcare in Michigan is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while ensuring safety and comfort. Training is provided, and candidates without experience are welcome.

Pay ranges from $17 to $20 per hour, with opportunities to grow within a structured program.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven't had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills
• Contribute to safety and comfort of children in a dynamic environment
• Monitor progress and document responses to interventions
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to adjust strategies as needed
