Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking a Behavior Technician to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA and using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

You should be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team. Comprehensive training is provided, and the role may involve lifting up to 50 pounds as part of caring for clients.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test.
• Background check clearance required.
• Registered Behavior Technician certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children using individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Implement techniques under the guidance of a BCBA to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress with the team.
