Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

You will employ evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors; training is provided and physical tasks may include lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Passion for helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test (within last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities
