Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with clients, implementing individualized plans under a BCBA's supervision to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training; this is a physically active role requiring standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain) within a reasonable time frame.
• Background check and TB test clearance required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform varied positions (sit, stand, bend, crouch).

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one instruction under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors.
