Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under a BCBA, implementing individualized plans and teaching communication, social and daily living skills.

The role requires patience, compassion, and teamwork, with comprehensive training provided. You may be asked to stand, walk, and assist with lifting up to 50 pounds as part of daily activities.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test (if not done in the last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress.
