Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA to teach communication and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We offer comprehensive training, a pay range of $19–$24 per hour, and opportunities to grow within the field of Behavioral Analysis.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to children with autism under BCBA supervision.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans and evidence-based techniques.
• Help children develop communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Work collaboratively with a team to support clients and families.
• Engage in activities that may require standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
