Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children who have autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Strong teamwork and patience are essential, with comprehensive training provided. Pay range is $19–$25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to obtain CPR & First Aid certification and TB test.
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Able to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend).
• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Follow guidance from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Be patient, compassionate, and work well in a team environment.
