Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to build communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training; no prior experience required. Candidates must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and be able to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and a TB test.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Candidates must obtain an Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and support adaptive functioning.
• Collaborate with a team and participate in training provided by Centria Autism.
