Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under a BCBA.

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors, with comprehensive training provided. Pay range is $16-$18 per hour; candidates must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and pass required background checks and health screenings.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test
• Background check required
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills
• Reduce interfering behaviors
• Be comfortable standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds
