Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with clients, applying individualized intervention plans under BCBA supervision to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

This role requires compassion, patience, and teamwork, with comprehensive training provided. The position involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed to support clients.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with a team to support each child's needs.
• End each day knowing you made a meaningful impact on a family.
