Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience required as we provide comprehensive training. You must be patient and able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children following individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Promote positive behavior and reduce interfering behaviors.
• Be comfortable with physical demands including standing, walking, kneeling and lifting up to 50 pounds.
