Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors. We provide comprehensive training so you are equipped to help each child, even without prior experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Background check required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Candidate must obtain an RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA supervision.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Interact with children in a patient, compassionate manner and maintain safety.
• Collaborate with the team to support each child’s progress.
