Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You’ll help teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

The role requires patience, compassion, and teamwork. Training is provided, and prior experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification and TB test (if not current) required.
• Background check successful completion required.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral intervention under BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Assist children with autism to reach learning goals and reduce interfering behaviors.
• Work safely with children, including moving, lifting, and assisting as needed.
• Participate in daily activities and report progress to the BCBA.
