Job summary

Centria is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in a collaborative setting. You will work one-on-one with clients under the guidance of a BCBA to implement individualized plans and teach essential skills.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion when working with children with autism.

• Commitment to safety and ongoing training.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred or required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Assist in reducing interfering behaviors and promote client independence.
