Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We value patient, compassionate individuals who can collaborate in a team. Training is provided; lifting up to 50 pounds is required as children and objects may be moved

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient and able to work well in a team.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• CPR, First Aid certifications and TB test required (or within last year).
• Pass pre-employment background check.
• Ability to physically assist and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills; reduce interfering behaviors.
• Participate in training and collaborate with team to support children.
