Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior plans and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while promoting safety and well-being.

We provide comprehensive training; no prior experience required. The role requires physical activity and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with a pay range of $19-$20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to monitor progress.
