Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under a BCBA's guidance. You will teach communication, social, and life skills using evidence-based methods while safely managing behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training; candidates should be patient, compassionate, and team-oriented. The role requires standing and lifting up to 50 pounds, with a pay range of $17-$20 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 18+ years of age.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• TB test (if not current within 12 months).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children and implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision of BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques; reduce interfering behaviors.
• End each day knowing you made a meaningful impact on a child and family.
