Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You'll use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training; candidates must be patient, compassionate, and team-oriented.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion are essential for working with children with autism.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.
• CPR/First Aid certification and TB test required or obtainable on onboarding.
• Registered Behavior Technician certification after onboarding is required.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment and document progress as part of the program.
