Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children who have autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

No prior experience is required; comprehensive training is provided. You should be patient and compassionate, able to work well in a team, and comfortable standing, walking,

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test if needed.
• Background check required.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.
• RB Technician certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior plans.
• Follow BCBA guidance and evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and support learning.
• Be able to stand, move, and assist with physical activities.
