Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one, implementing individualized behavior plans under a BCBA's guidance, and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training; 18+ and a high school diploma or GED required. You may need CPR/First Aid and TB testing; lifting up to 50 pounds is expected.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test within one year.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Candidate must obtain an RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Collaborate with team to ensure safety and proper implementation of interventions.
