Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior plans, teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques, and collaborate with a compassionate team.

Candidates should be patient and 18+, with a high school diploma or GED. Training is provided; lifting up to 50 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age and eligible to work in the US.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test.
• Background check required.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification required after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with a team in a supportive environment.
