Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children who have autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills, reduce interfering behaviors, and grow professionally through comprehensive training. The role requires the ability to move and assist children up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Background check required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Operate under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Participate in training and development to support child outcomes.
