Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA and help teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

We provide comprehensive training, a supportive team, and opportunities to grow in the field of Behavioral Analysis. The role requires flexibility to move and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and a Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Assist BCBA under guidance to support learning and reduce interfering behaviors.
