Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one‑on‑one with children with autism. You will implement individualized plans under a BCBA and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

Applicants should be patient, compassionate, and team-oriented. Training is provided, with a focus on safety and family collaboration. The role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test required (if you haven’t had one in the last year).
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Must be able to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend).
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children with autism.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Contribute to a supportive team environment and communicate progress to families.
