Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under a BCBA, implementing evidence-based behavior plans to teach essential skills and reduce interfering behaviors.

You will be trained and supported, with emphasis on patient, compassionate care and teamwork. The role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed, with a pay range of $17–$20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Requires passion for helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
• 18+ years of age; HS diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid and TB test
• Background check clearance required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children using individualized behavior plans
• Implement interventions under BCBA supervision
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills
• Help maintain a safe, supportive environment
