Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join us as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

We provide comprehensive training to empower you to help each child reach their potential. You will learn evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while collaborating with families.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion to support children with autism.
• Teamwork and ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain an Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors.
