Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians in Michigan. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA, teaching communication, social and daily living skills, and reducing challenging behaviors.

Qualifications

Passionate about helping children with autism.
Patient, compassionate and able to work in a team.
18+ years of age.
High school diploma or GED.
Able to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test if not recently.
Pass background check prior to employment.
Able to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Work one-on-one with children and implement individualized plans under a BCBA.
Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress with supervision.
Collaborate with team and families to support each child’s goals.
