Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with clients, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA and using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age and a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test within required period.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to children with autism under a BCBA- supervised plan.
• Implement evidence-based behavior intervention techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
