Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum, implementing individualized behavior plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to help children develop communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

The role requires patience, teamwork, and a willingness to learn; comprehensive training is provided, even if you have no prior experience.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion when working with children.
• Able to work well in a team and communicate effectively with BCBA guidance.
• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• CPR/First Aid certification and TB test required or can be obtained.
• Pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to children under BCBA supervision.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans with evidence-based techniques.
