Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Support and collaborate with a BCBA supervising the intervention.
• Contribute to a positive, patient-centered classroom environment.
