Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while helping reduce interfering behaviors.

We value patience, compassion and teamwork. Training is provided, and candidates must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion to support children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Minimum age 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.
• Requires CPR/First Aid certification and TB test (if not within last year).
• Background check required prior to employment.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Onboarding completes with obtaining a Registered Behavior Technician certification.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Support children in transitions and daily activities while ensuring safety.
