Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with clients, implementing behavior intervention plans under a BCBA, using evidence-based methods to teach communication and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Our roles include patient, compassionate team members who can stand, walk, and assist children weighing up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age and a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications and a TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans under BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and promote meaningful progress.
• Collaborate with the team in a fast-paced educational setting.
