Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum, implementing individualized intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods while supporting families and ensuring safety.

The role emphasizes compassion, teamwork, and ongoing training to prepare you for certification and career growth within our autism-focused program.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient and compassionate; able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age; high school diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certification and TB test requirement (if not recent).
• Background check clearance required.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and promote safety during activities.
• Maintain a supportive, patient, and collaborative environment with colleagues and families.
