Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children who have autism. You will implement individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

• Patience and compassion when working with children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team and stay calm in challenging situations.
• Must be 18+ years old and have a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Move and assist children as needed, up to 50 pounds, in a safe manner.
