Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized plans under a BCBA's guidance. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while ensuring safety and progress.

Candidates should be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team. Training is provided, and no prior experience is required.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to support goals.
• Provide training and support to families as needed.
