Centria Autism in Rowlett, TX is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA and using evidence-based techniques. Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year).
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain an Registered Behavior Technician Certification after completing onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement intervention plans under a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Support a team environment and participate in ongoing training.
• Assist with handling and positioning of children up to 50 pounds.
