Job summary

Centria Autism in Texas is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing behavior intervention plans under a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to build communication and life skills.

Join a dedicated team, receive comprehensive training, and help children reach their full potential. Expect flexible, on-site work with a pay range of $18–$25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Contribute to a supportive team environment and participate in ongoing training.
• Assist children in various physical positions and ensure safety during activities.
