Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians in Owings Mills, MD. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience required; comprehensive training is provided. You should be patient and team-oriented, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and pass a

Qualifications

• Patience and passion for helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications and a TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend).
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification required within 45 days of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Operate under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Maintain safety and supportive interaction with clients during activities.
