Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through one-on-one sessions under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will implement individualized intervention plans and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills
• Support children in applying skills during daily activities
• Collaborate with the team to monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed
