Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA, to help improve communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive training. You must be patient, compassionate, and able to stand or move with children, who may weigh up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior plans under BCBA supervision.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods.
• Promote safety and positive interactions during sessions.
