Job summary

Centria Autism in Goodyear, AZ is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with each child under the guidance of a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training. You must be patient, compassionate, and able to lift up to 50 pounds; you may need to stand, walk, and move in multiple positions during the day.

Qualifications

• - Passionate about helping children with autism.
• - Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• - 18+ years of age.
• - High school diploma or GED.
• - Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid certification and TB test.
• - Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• - Ability to move in various positions (sit, squats, bend, etc.).
• - Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
