Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while helping reduce challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training and support; applicants should be patient, compassionate, and team-oriented. This position involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with BCBA guidance to support each child’s progress.
• Contribute to a safe, supportive, and collaborative team environment.
