Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social and daily living skills while supporting families.

No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive training. You should be patient, compassionate, and physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and being on your feet throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test within 1 year
• Ability to pass a preemployment background check
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification required within 45 days of onboarding

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Support families and participate in team-based care planning.
